Oreos and Lipstick

We’ve never been the kind of friends
that were all mushy stuff
so here is our friendship poem
(and I h̶o̶p̶e̶ you don’t mind it’s so rough)

We might stay up all night watching movies,
then get up the next morning at ten,
never rest once during the day
then the next night do it again.

When you guys break up I help you
demolish an entire box of Oreo cookies,
you tell me if you think my boyfriend sucks
and in a few weeks I might agree with you.

Who else would be company
in doing so many outrageous things?
Remember when we stole that makeup
from the dollar store (among other things).

I can honestly say that I’ve never
gotten naked with anyone else
covered myself in flour
and run screaming through the house.
